The site visit was conducted on 06th May, 2024 at Regional Station, Mukteshwar of CITH which was proposed CPC for Multi crops (Apple, Almond, Walnut, Berries and other temperate fruit crops) with a purpose of site verification and technical inspection. Visiting team comprised of representatives from NHB, ADB Mission Team, International experts with a staff of institute.
Two potential CPC sites of CITH’s Mukteshwar for temperate fruits were evaluated, among this, consideration was given to a site by removing nearby apple and stone fruit trees if said site is selected for the CPC.
