Welcome to the INDIA’s CLEAN PLANT PROGRAM, dedicated to enhancing fruit crop growers’ access to certified disease-free planting materials for key fruit crops across India. Our mission is to elevate yields, crop quality, and climate resilience in the country’s horticulture sector in the long run.

Our initial focus encompasses Almonds, Apples, Avocados, Citrus, Grapes, Guava, Litchi, Mango, Pomegranate, and Walnuts. Through strategic initiatives, we aim to bolster institutional and regulatory frameworks, bringing the clean plant program for horticulture to operational effectiveness.

The INDIA’s CLEAN PLANT PROGRAM is committed to establishing clean plant centers that meticulously maintain disease-free foundation materials. These materials will subsequently be propagated by accredited nurseries, ensuring a robust supply chain of high-quality planting materials.

In addition, we are dedicated to expanding the propagation of disease-free planting materials through a comprehensive certification scheme. Private nurseries will be accredited, and their planting materials rigorously tested and certified. By doing so, we empower farmers with the use of certified disease-free planting materials, making them more resilient to climate impacts and significantly reducing crop losses.
