Mission Team visited Post-Entry Quarantine (PEQ) facilities at the University and understood major concerns faced by institute and nursery. Nurseries expressed strong interest and optimism for the CPP’s positive impacts and requested for closer consultation with private nurseries in the development of CPP. The Mission also noted as some private nurseries view horticulture research have lots of rooms to the potential for horticultural research to evolve towards a more commercially oriented paradigm.

Visit was conducted on 06th May, 2024 at Dr. Y S Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, HP and Private nurseries namely Nishant Bio-Tech & Indo Dutch Horticulture Technologies. Participants included ADB Mission team along with international experts with Staff of university and nurseries.
